Over the past few weeks, we've tried grass-fed meats at three different restaurants in Denver -- Le Central, The Mercury Cafe, and Potager -- with extremely satisfying results. It's a great way to sample meats before you place an order for yourself.
Remember, we can all help to support Colorado ranchers by asking our favorite chefs and restauranteurs (and your local grocers) to offer locally raised, grass-fed meats, eggs and dairy.

Great list! I love the Denver places already, so it's nice to know of some others to check out elsewhere that have quality suppliers.
How are the Denver restaurants doing selling Grass Fed Meat. I will be soon opening a restaurant that will also sell only grass fed meats in Utah. I am from Germany where Antibiotics were outlawed on cows in the 80's. I am interested to see how things will turn out in the U.S. Germany already phased out battery eggs and the entire European Union has the goal to do so by 2012. How many years will it take in the U.S. till I can enjoy my breakfast egg?
Thanks for the comments.
Beef sup'herb, I can't speak for Colorado restaurants, but I invite comments from others. Meanwhile I congratulate you on your new endeavor. When your restaurant is up and running, let us know how to find you!
